Not the East London Triathletes club
This web address, eastlondontriathletes.co.uk, belonged for many years to East London Triathletes, a triathlon club based in Waltham Forest. The club still exists and now uses a different address: eastlondontri.co.uk. If you are looking for the club, its sessions or its membership, go there.
After the old address expired and passed through other hands, Aigen Digital Marketing SL registered it and publishes Tri Almanac on it. We have no connection with the club, its committee, its coaches or its members. We do not use the club's name as our brand, its colours or its logo, and we do not publish club news, results or training times. Links to old club pages on this address now lead to the closest guide on this site.
What Tri Almanac is
A reference guide for adults in the UK who want to start triathlon or race more of it: distances and rules, a calendar of races with confirmed dates, training structures, places to swim and ride in London, and kit guides. We write in plain British English and try to answer the question you searched for in the first paragraph of each page.
We do not organise races, sessions or coaching, and we do not sell race entries. Where you need to book or enter, we link to the organiser or venue.
Where our facts come from
- Rules, distances and minimum ages: British Triathlon's Competition Rules 2026 (April 2026 version). Where races abroad follow World Triathlon's rules, we say so.
- Race dates: only from the organiser's own website. If the next date has not been published, we write "date not published" with the day we checked. We never work out a date from previous editions.
- Venues: from the operator's official page (opening pattern, requirements such as a tow float or a swim test, booking and published prices).
- Kit: prices and specifications as stated by the brand or a UK retailer on the day we checked.
Every page shows a "Checked" date and lists its sources at the end. Prices, timetables and dates change, so confirm on the official page before you pay or travel.
What we do not do
We have not tested the products in our kit guides, so you will not find scores, star ratings or reader reviews here. Kit pages explain what matters when you choose, what each listed product offers according to its maker, and which kind of athlete it may suit.
Training pages give general structures for healthy adults. They are not personal coaching or medical advice. If you have a medical condition, have been inactive for a long time or are unsure whether hard training is right for you, talk to your GP first. For coaching, British Triathlon lists qualified coaches and clubs across the country.
How the site is paid for
Some buttons in our kit guides take you to UK retailers through links that start with /go/. They are marked as sponsored. If you buy after clicking, the retailer may pay a commission to Aigen Digital Marketing SL; the price is the same for you. A few links go to shops we have no commercial arrangement with, and they say "We earn no commission from this shop."
Commissions do not decide what we cover or how. We may add display advertising to some guides in future. If we do, the ads will be labelled, they will not sit inside tables of facts, and our legal notice will explain the cookies involved before any are set.
Contact and corrections
The publisher's details are in the legal notice. If you spot a mistake, send the page address and a link to the official source, and we will check it and update the page.

Frequently asked questions
Are you East London Triathletes?
No. East London Triathletes is a triathlon club that used the address eastlondontriathletes.co.uk until about 2020. The club is still active at eastlondontri.co.uk. After the old address expired, Aigen Digital Marketing SL registered it to publish this independent guide. We have no link with the club.
Do you organise training sessions or races?
No. Tri Almanac does not organise sessions, races, coaching or group rides, and it has no members. We point you to the venues, organisers and governing body that do, with links to their official pages so you can book or enter directly with them.
How do you make money?
Some links in our kit guides go to UK retailers through addresses that start with /go/. If you buy after clicking one, the retailer may pay us a commission. The price you pay is the same. We may also show display advertising on some guides in future; this page will say so when that happens.
How can I report a mistake?
Write to the publisher at the postal address in our legal notice and tell us the page and what is wrong, with a link to the official source if you have one. We check corrections against the official source and update the page and its checked date.
